New Participant of PRIOR: Educational Center of Computing Techniques (St. Petersburg)

On January 25, 2010 a new participant joined PRIOR – Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization "Educational Center of Computing Techniques" from St. Petersburg.

The Center is part of educational holding "Academy of Professional Education", which has been successfully operating on market of additional education since 1949 and which is associated member of International Academy of Sciences related to Informatics, Information Processes and Technologies under Department of United Nations Organization. It is accredited with the Government of Moscow, has status of Regional Center of examinational syndicate City & Guilds (London, Great Britain), international testing center ECDL (European Computer Rights), Microsoft IT Academy and is official Representative of Moscow State University n.a. Lomonosov in distant testing. Academy and Center propose efficient distant courses and tend to make additional education more available, efficient and interesting for people who don’t have opportunity to attend resident courses.

Thanks to joining of a new partner today 291 organizations are members of PRIOR, including 279 organizations from 32 Russian regions, 4 international ICT-companies, 2 Finnish companies and one company from each of the following: USA, Belgium, Ukraine and Czech Republic. These organizations represent driving powers of e-development - state (32), business (125), civil society (74), and scientific-educational community (60).

PRIOR also has 16 individual participants (private persons, individual entrepreneurs, online mass-media).

All together there are 307 PRIOR partners now.
